Wrangler: We Are Still Animals.

Wrangler's original We Are Animals campaigns were incredible, visually, one of my favourite campaigns of all time. In particular the 2010 campaign, I loved the colour, energy and rawness that was evoked in just a simple print ad.

Now comes the class of 2011, and I'm a little let down to be honest.

They're ok. Just ok. Which is a shame. The problem seems to be that they have tried to force the We Are Animals concept on everyday urban folk, and it just doesn't work. Some are too over the top, look almost Marvel like, others are just not trying hard enough. Click here to see the entire campaign. That's not the say I dislike the entire campaign, here's my favourites.

Maybe it's time for a new concept?

Wrangler Campaign

Keeping on the denim theme, the current Wrangler campaign is one that I really like. Not do I think that it is a great concept or a fantastic and orinigal 'big idea', I just think that the execution is incredible. This is not a new campaign but they have just brought out a new range of print ads 'Red' which reminded me how good it is. Just take a look.
